I've spent more than three decades building and running global capital-markets, business-development and sustainable-finance businesses - living and working across seven countries, and personally executing transactions in sixteen currencies along the way.
Since 2021 I've been founder-CEO of two advisory businesses; before that I was Global Head of FIG Capital Markets at Standard Chartered, and a regulated individual in both Singapore and the UK. Prior to that I was at JPMorganChase, where I started my career developed my skills.
Along the way I've originated well over US$100 billion in financing, built relationships that still hold at CEO, board and central-bank-governor level, and learned - the hard way, through the Asian crisis and the global financial crisis that followed - how to keep a franchise steady when markets aren't. Stepping away from a big platform in 2021 to build something of my own was its own kind of education - fewer resources, more of the decisions landing on me directly, and a much shorter distance between a choice and its consequences.
